Making Legal Marketing Interesting For People who Don’t Need it (Yet)

The trouble with marketing for attorneys or legal services is that the vast majority of the legal market is only listening when they’re already in a crisis. This is bad for attorneys because it makes it difficult for them to reach their target audience, and it’s bad for people in need of legal help because they won’t have enough time to find the best help by the time they start looking for it.

As a marketer, this poses a problem. How can we reach out to people who aren’t really interested, even though it’s probably in their best interest?

Let’s Talk About Injuries

With the world’s most expensive medical system, it’s nearly impossible for a normal person to get through an accident without a mountain of medical bills that need to be covered by insurance.

Whiplash symptoms can persist for weeks or months, making insurance liable to cover compensation for medical bills, lost income, and pain and suffering. The ensuing costs would be enough to financially destroy most Americans, which is why insurance companies exist in the first place.

It’s important for people to realize that they need to be prepared for emergencies so that they can get the help they need when catastrophe strikes.

 

Insurance Companies Aren’t Always Going to Help

One of the most common legal problems everyday Americans are going to face is trouble with an insurance claim.

Insurance companies, for their part, do their best to avoid paying claims, both to protect their profit margins and to ensure that they can stay in business considering the astronomically large claims that they often need to cover in today’s medical system.

That, of course, isn’t fair to the people dealing with the medical bills. They bought the insurance, so they deserve to be covered.
